Price Guarantee Policy

 

  • If you find the same product at a cheaper price within 7 days we will refund the difference.
  • The product must be identical in all details, including the same specifications and brand.
  • The identical product must be at a lower price than the price you paid for the product, after all allowances, rebates and discounts (this includes the discounts we offer to our VIP Club loyalty programme members).
  • The product must be available at the lower price to the general public within 10km of the Discount Art Warehouse store you bought it at.
  • You must provide evidence of any genuine competitor’s advertised price of the identical product as advertised in a daily newspaper, catalogue, on commercial radio or television advert.
  • Advertisements must be current.
  • The competitor must have stock available in the quantity requested.
  • Competitors' conditions may apply (e.g. payment type, location, freight, etc).
  • Excludes trade buyers, online offers and liquidation or clearance sales.
  • We reserve the right to limit sales to retail quantities.
Returns Policy

 

  • All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt as proof of purchase.
  • Refund or exchange will be given on faulty goods.
  • We do not normally give refunds if you change your mind or make a wrong selection.
  • This policy is in addition to your statutory rights under the Trade Practices Act and similar laws.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission explains (see http://www.accc.gov.au) under the Trade Practices Act 1974 you may seek a refund if goods:

  • Are or become faulty through no fault of your own
  • Are not fit for a stated purpose or a purpose you made known to our sales staff
  • Don’t match our description or sample
  • Have defects that were not obvious or we did not bring to your attention

However, the goods must be returned within a reasonable period and you may be asked for proof of purchase. You may also be asked to demonstrate that the problem with the goods was not your fault. If you prefer an alternative to a refund, we can arrange for goods to be exchanged or repaired.
A store credit may be offered at our discretion. Please choose carefully as you are not entitled to a refund if you simply change your mind.
Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase.

Free Delivery Policy

 

  • Order size must be above $100.
  • We only guarantee to attempt to deliver once. If deliver fails Australia Post will leave the package at the nearest Post Office. Other couriers leave a phone number to arrange delivey at a mutually convenient time.
  • Our $8 flate rate and free shipping offers do not apply to remote areas.
