General Usage:
Mont Marte Art Stretcher Bars for canvas are sold individually. Each Stretcher Bar is 30mm x 38mm and they are available in 13 different lengths (see Product Name for length) . They are constructed from sturdy kiln dried pine. The benefit of stretching your own canvas is that it allows you to create unusual sizes and formats. Many artists who work in a more traditional manner also prefer to stretch their own. Featuring pre-cut interlocking corners, they fit tightly into each other. No further fastening or gluing is necessary with these Stretcher Bars. Canvas of many different types can be used and of course Mont Marte Canvas on the Roll is suitable. Stretcher keys are also provided and can be inserted into the corner joints to provide additional tension if necessary.
