Product Details
Mont Marte 500ml Black Gesso is ideal for priming and sealing board, canvas, paper and other semi-porous surfaces. It provides a flexible matt finish and a slightly toothed surface allowing acrylic and oil to stick well to the painting support. Black Gesso brings fascinating effects and stunning contrasts that regular white gesso cannot achieve. It can be diluted with water and cleans up easily with soap and water.
Apply 2-3 thin coats of black gesso for optimum results. Sand after each coat for a smoother surface for detailed work.
